Southern Cross Care QLD is currently looking for an Aged Care Registered Nurse based at one of our Residential Aged Care Homes in the Western Downs region of Queensland. We have casual and permanent roles available. Whether you''d like to join the team at Illoura Village in Chinchilla, our biggest Home in the area, or would enjoy the peace and tranquility of smaller towns like Tara, Miles or Taroom, we have the perfect place for you.Chinchilla is located in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, less than 2 hours west of Toowoomba or less than 4 hours from Brisbane. You will work under the leadership of experienced Clinical Leaders to deliver advanced clinical and holistic care. Providing support and supervision to your team members, you will champion a strong teamwork approach to resident care. You will liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members ensuring excellence in personalised care. Most importantly, compassion and empathy accompany your clinical talent, alongside building relationships with our residents based on dignity and respect.What will you bring to the role?You will be an RN with a current AHPRA registrationYou will have a strong clinical focus with the ability to provide a high level of holistic support that best suits the individualKnowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care (desired)You must be available to work all shiftsYou are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best livesYou enjoy working in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and outstanding communication skillsWho is Southern Cross Care Queensland?Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago.
