Intereach is looking for a highly passionate and experienced professional to join us in delivering high quality community services.Child, Family, and Community Workers strengthen family functioning through relationship-based practice using attachment, regulation, trauma informed casework, group, and community work interventions to build confidence with parent-child relationships, behaviour, education, health, wellbeing, and cultural connections.Children and Young People are the focus of intervention and are involved in planning, decision making, and participation.In this role you will:Work directly with children, parents and caregivers to strengthen family functioning and wellbeing.eliver early intervention supports using attachment informed, regulation focused and trauma-aware approaches.Provide casework, group programs and community based interventions that build parenting confidence, child development and wellbeing outcomes, and cultural connection.Collaborate with schools, health services, and community partners.Maintain high quality documentation, reporting and outcomes tracking.Contribute to reflective practice, team learning and service improvement.Youll be supported by experienced leadership and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.For further details, you can request a copy of the Role Profile by emailing [email protected] is a part-time (0.8 FTE) fixed term contract, from 6 March 2025 until 31 January 2027. The role will be based in our Deniliquin office.The role is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award with an hourly starting salary of $44.58 plus superannuation and access to salary packaging benefits.About YouWere looking for someone who brings:A genuine commitment to child wellbeing, early intervention and family centred practice.Strong relationship building skills with children, families and community partners.Sound understanding of trauma informed practice, attachment and child development.Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.Cultural humility and respect for Aboriginal communities and diverse families.Strong communication, organisation and professional boundaries.Relevant qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or related field (minimum Certificate IV / Diploma; Degree highly regarded).Experience working with children and families in community, early intervention or mental health settings.Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check.NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel locally.Capacity to meet child safe standards and organisational policies.For further details, you can request a copy of the Role Profile by emailing [email protected] BenefitsIntereach prides itself on supporting our staff, employee benefits include:Great perks!
