This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is servicing the medical industry in providing laboratory automation products that make a difference in the world.What you''ll do:Be a champion for all quality control processesInspection of incoming and outgoing products to meet with Quality and Engineering standardsResolving quality issues as identified by our manufacturing teamIn conjunction with the Quality Manager, maintain key functions of the Quality system including the disposition of nonconformancesLiaising with Suppliers on any nonconformance issuesWorking with the Quality Manager to review customer defect claimsUndertake internal auditsReview and maintain production documentationWhat you''ll bring:Ideally a minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in a similar quality roleEngineering trade background or strong production experienceExperience with the following manufacturing processes: metal machining, sheet metal forming, metal casting, plastic moulding and formingA comprehensive knowledge of GD&T and metrology techniques would be an advantageExperience with the use of measuring equipment and able to read and comprehend engineering drawings and documentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levelsCapable of being able to multitask with an eye for the detailAbility to work individually or as a team to consistently deliver resultsWilling to travel domestically and internationallyWorking knowledge of a Quality Management System eg ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949Exposure to lean manufacturing and/or continuous process improvement conceptsExperience with cable manufacturing, PCB''s and electronics would be highly valuedExperience using Oracle Cloud, Agile PLM is an advantageAt Brooks LAS, we foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
