We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our executive team as Executive Director, Event Strategy, Delivery & Activation . This is a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction of major events in NSW, ensuring they deliver cultural, social and economic benefits for our state. About the role In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and delivery of NSWs event strategy, shaping a portfolio of high-impact events that attract global attention. You will drive precinct activations and integrated programs that extend visitor engagement and economic impact, and build strong partnerships across government, industry and international networks to secure major events and create signature experiences. Reporting to the CEO, and as a key member of our senior leadership team, youll provide authoritative advice to senior stakeholders and champion innovation in event design and delivery. About you Were seeking a visionary leader with proven experience in major event strategy, acquisition and activation at scale and deep knowledge of the national and international events landscape and market trends. Ideally, you have tertiary qualifications in Events Management, Business, Tourism or related fields and you must have demonstrated senior executive experience in complex environments with strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
