Venue and Senior Venue Experience OfficersMaitland City Council is recruiting for vibrant Venue Experience and Senior Venue Experience Officers to join our Town Hall team!About UsLocated in the heart of the city, Maitland Town Hall is a fully accessible and highly sought after heritage listed venue, playing host to theatrical performances, weddings, receptions, exhibitions, corporate launches, school concerts, meetings and cocktail parties.About the RoleAs the Venue Experience Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support for events and functions at the Townhall and other Council venues. This entails ensuring appearance of event spaces are maintained to a high standard whilst supporting general administration of services to enhance the visitor experience.Our Senior Venue Experience Officers are responsible for the duties above but additionally act within a leadership role, overseeing the venue operations and team in the absence of the Team Leader Town Hall Operations. Furthermore, our Senior Venue Experience Officers will undertake administrative services in preparation for events and be the main contact for hirers and contractors during the event.These positions will provide you with variety, being able to work between front of house and back of house, where you will actively contribute to operations and provide a seamless experience for customers and guests.These are casual roles, working varied hours, dependent on bookings and will be across 7 days including nights and weekends.The Venue Experience Officer has a base salary ranging from $34.69 - $38.50 per hour and our Senior Venue Experience Officer has a base salary ranging from $38.86 - $43.14 per hour + casual loading + 12% p.a. superannuation.About YouTo be successful in these roles, you will have and demonstrate experience in the provision of client services to a diverse audience such as meet and greet, information provision and event promotions.
