This role focuses on the collection and management of illegally dumped waste, as well as supporting broader waste, recycling and litter services across the Liverpool Local Government Area. You will operate plant, vehicles and equipment, work in public spaces, and assist with traffic management while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Key responsibilities include:Collection and disposal of illegally dumped wasteOperation of trucks, plant and equipment associated with illegal waste removalLitter, recycling and general waste collectionTraffic management and on-road safety activitiesMaintenance, inspection and cleaning of vehicles and equipmentAccurate completion of daily worksheets and vehicle inspection reportsRepresenting Council professionally when interacting with the communityYou will work as part of a high-performing operational team, contributing to the cleanliness, safety and presentation of the Liverpool Local Government Area.ABOUT YOUYou enjoy handson outdoor work and take pride in maintaining public spaces.
