Based in West Footscray, an opportunity has become available for a truck driver to join our team to conduct deliveries around Victoria.When not required to complete daily deliveries, the successful applicant will assist in our manufacturing line by completing basic production tasks.Key driving responsibilities in this job will include, yet are not limited to:Quality checking, stacking and preparing the truck load so it is ready for loading must be able to lift up to 40kg.Delivering products to our customers (business to business) in the Melbourne Metropolitan and Regional Victoria areas (often 2 loads per day).A standard load comprises 1-2 delivery locations, yet can contain up to 5+ different delivery locations at times.Loading, unloading, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle.As we have a range of fleet from vans to manual medium rigid trucks, the person we are seeking must possess a valid Manual Driver''s Licence along with, at the minimum, a Medium Rigid (MR) Licence.In return ACC Higgins offers secure employment and above award wages to staff.
