We are seeking a Commis Chef to join our dynamic Kitchen team and contribute to our culinary success! In this critical role you will assist our chefs in the preparation and cooking of meals across various outlets from breakfast service to dinner operations. Your responsibilities will include managing mise en place monitoring stock levels and ensuring all food is stored and managed to the highest health and hygiene standards.Efficiently manage your assigned section maintaining stock rotation protocolsEnsure every dish meets the hotels quality standardsAssist in the preparation and cooking of meals for all meal servicesMaintain a clean and organised work environment at all timesAdhere strictly to all health and safety regulationsCollaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operationsContinuously develop culinary skills and knowledgeReport any issues or concerns to senior kitchen staff promptlyParticipate in regular inventory checks and stock managementDemonstrate a commitment to professional growth and culinary excellenceQualificationsThe successful candidate will have the following:Trade qualifications in CookeryPrevious experience in the hotel industry (preferred)Knowledge of food safety requirementsService oriented with an eye for detailTime management skills with the ability to multitaskGood interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of team membersFlexible availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidaysAdditional InformationWhy work for AccorWe are far more than a worldwide leader.
