Our stakeholder environment is complex, crossing government, industry, consumers and community. Highquality, proactive and consistent engagement will help AEMO to be a trusted partner with our stakeholders, to deliver better energy outcomes for consumers and the community.This is an exciting, earlycareer opportunity to join AEMO''s Stakeholder Engagement Team, supporting the development of AEMO''s financial and investor relations and connections engagement strategies. This will be focused on building AEMO''s financial confidence, and relationships and trust with investors, industry, the FCC, government and consumers. Your contribution will help drive strategic, coordinated engagement with the broader investment market for the energy transition and enhance your professional development.This role can be based across any AEMO site from Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Sydney with flexibility to work from home.What you will be doingWith guidance from the senior staff and managers you willAssist with the implementation of communication and engagement plans and strategies, and help facilitate events and develop quality, consistent supporting content and materials for stakeholders.Identify opportunities to share stakeholder insights and drive improvements in engagement work.Proactively capture insights from stakeholders and share with the wider team and business.Respond to emails in group mailbox and to formal queries as part of an engagement.Assist with the management and maintenance of stakeholder mapping to reflect current state and management and maintenance of stakeholder contact databases and AEMO''s CRM.What you will bring to the roleRelevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor) in social sciences, communications, public relations or related field, accompanied by some financial literacy.Some experience in small to medium sized, corporate and/or complex service delivery organisations. An understanding of the Energy sector would be favourably regarded but is not essential.Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite.
