The role is responsible for leading the site''s Quality function, ensuring all activities align with the Quality Engagement Plan and directives from the Allied Pinnacle Quality leadership team. You will lead the site''s quality initiatives, ensuring the highest food safety and quality standards are met.Key accountabilities include:Driving the development, implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety and Quality Management SystemMaintain existing third party audited HACCP and GFSI (BRC) certification.Build and lead a cohesive and technically competent quality team to enable you to provide a supportive and continuously improving "Quality Culture", ensuring compliance to the highest quality standardsPolicy development with regard to product quality, QA and QC systems and procedures, sanitation and manufacturing plant qualityA strong emphasis on training and education, internal auditing, HACCP systems and incident management responsesActively monitor site quality performance and provide timely KPI reporting to management, identifying and resolving quality and food safety issues in a supportive and consultative manner.The successful applicant will possess:Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.Minimum 5 years'' experience in the Food Industry or Quality Systems.Exceptional attention to detail and professionalism in communication, written and verbal.Proven ability to lead and manage a small team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience with Lean manufacturing practices and processes.Proficiency in MS Office applications.Superior technical knowledge in food safety and quality management.What is in it for you:Our culture is warm, friendly, and inclusive, and we encourage each other to bring our authentic selves to work.Work/Life balance.Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Living our Values: Act as One, Better Every day, Own It, Think Differently, and Enjoy the Ride.If you are motivated and results driven professional with the required skills and experience, then this is an exciting opportunity for you be part of Allied Pinnacle.To apply, please follow the prompts.Only successful applicants will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
