A technically confident Senior who can guide, review and advise on the complex ecology components that underpin major approvals work.The RoleYou''ll play a key technical role supporting the team across ecological impact assessments, offsets strategy, and client advisory. Day to day, expect to:Lead and review technical deliverables across QLD terrestrial flora and fauna assessmentsDevelop and interpret offset strategies in line with state and federal legislationLiaise directly with clients (including government and infrastructure agencies)Provide ecological advice within the EPBC referral and state approvals frameworksSupport and mentor junior ecologists, sharing knowledge across field and reporting workBalance technical delivery with high-level review and strategic input on key infrastructure projectsThe EnvironmentThe group sits within a large, globally recognised sustainability advisory practice but the Brisbane ecology team feels like a small studio: close-knit, high-performing, and deeply aligned to purpose.
