Delivery Consultant: Software Engineer (.Net), AWS Professional ServicesAmazon Web Services (AWS) Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. AWS Professional Services helps millions of businesses in 150+ countries transform their operations and applications using the power of AWS.We are seeking a handson Delivery Consultant with deep software engineering or cloud architecture expertise to deliver complex technical consulting engagements within AWS Professional Services. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical depth with proven product engineering capabilities, possessing both a software development background to work with complex architectures and code, and the curiosity to invent on behalf of our customers and leverage AWS services particularly in AI and ML. You will deliver innovative AWS solutions, ensuring successful outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and security.Key job responsibilitiesDesign and develop cloudnative solutions using AWS services, including handson software development, architecture design, and implementation of best practices in modern development methodologies.Provide solution implementations including software development, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices while collaborating with customers to understand requirements and create technical solutions.Build and implement distributed computing solutions using AWS services, involving handson coding, testing, and deployment across cloud environments.Guide customer and partner teams in software engineering practices, code reviews, architectural decisions, and implementation of AWS services while ensuring solution quality and security best practices.Develop innovative solutions using AWS AI/ML services, including building AIenabled applications, implementing agent architectures, and creating reusable components that demonstrate innovative use of AWS services.Basic Qualifications5+ years experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies building fullstack applications.5+ years of handson development experience with .NET and other modern programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Python).5+ years designing/implementing cloudnative solutions on AWS.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions), and DevOps practices.Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and eventdriven patterns with proven experience implementing largescale solutions.Preferred QualificationsStrong background in designing and implementing .NET applications.Strong background in API design and implementation (e.g., REST, GraphQL, gRPC). Experience working with identity protocols such as OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0.Knowledge of vector databases, retrievalaugmented generation, embedding pipelines.Understanding of AI agent architectures, development patterns, protocols (e.g., MCP, A2A) and multiagent systems.
