Growing civil contracting business with excellent pipelineChallenging and varied projects from $5m $30m across public and private sectorsExcellent career progression and company cultureOpportunity to join a growing civil contractor delivering subdivision, bulk earthworks and general civil projects across Sydney Metro.Our client is an established and reputable Tier 3 civil contractor with a strong presence across both the public and private sectors. Due to a significant pipeline of secured work, they are continuing to grow and are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Sydney-based team.The business delivers a range of civil projects including subdivisions, bulk earthworks, general civil works and roadworks, with project values typically ranging from $5m to $30m. Subdivision experience is highly preferable.As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of civil projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.You will work closely with internal delivery teams while managing subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be the main point of contact for clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.Projects are located across Sydney Metro, with the role based out of the Sydney office.ResponsibilitiesManaging end-to-end delivery of civil construction projectsCoordinating internal and external project resourcesPlanning and programming works to meet project milestonesManaging project budgets, forecasting and cost controlContract administration including variations and claimsEnsuring compliance with WHS, quality and environmental standardsLiaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliersReporting on project progress, risks and financial performanceCoordinating project handover and close-outQualifications and RequirementsTertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar5+ years'' experience delivering civil construction projects valued at $5m+Proven experience managing projects from award through to completionStrong understanding of civil construction methodologiesHigh level of commercial acumenEffective problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of organisation and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click "Apply" to submit your resume.For further information, contact Jacob Montague-Day on 0406 849 202 or via email at [email protected].#J-18808-Ljbffr
