The role requires a leader who is equally comfortable on the shop floor and in the boardroom, with the credibility to lead large, technically skilled teams and the commercial acumen to drive sustainable performance.The position is primarily based in Newcastle, where the majority of Ampcontrol''s operational workforce and manufacturing capability is located. You will bring:Senior leadership experience in industrial manufacturing or OEM environmentsBackgrounds in heavy industry, mining equipment, electrical/electronic/mechanical manufacturing or discrete manufacturingProven success leading lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and operational transformationStrong capability across complex, multi-site and global supply chainsExperience with offshore manufacturing, with China or similar markets highly regardedA visible, hands-on leadership style with strong cultural and people leadership capabilityA strategic mindset with an inherent understanding of project delivery and customer value chainsDemonstrated ability to grow and develop the capability of your teamsExperience in electrical or power solutions is desirable but not essential.QualificationsEngineering qualification (Diploma or higher)Lean, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence credentialsLocationThis role is based in Newcastle, reflecting the scale and importance of the Hunter Region operations.
