Located in Hastings, our facility is just a short walk from the foreshore, shopping centre, cafes, library, banks, and parklands.The RoleOur Support Services staff are integral to the wellbeing of our residents, delivering high-quality services. We are currently looking for Cleaning, & Laundry staff to join our team who are passionate about making a difference. More than just practical support, you will foster meaningful relationships that enhance each resident''s daily life. Reporting to the Support Services Team Leader, the team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment. We are offering both casual and permanent roles to suit your lifestyle!Duties IncludeMaintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standardsCleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and living areasCleaning communal and dining areasCleaning and sorting laundryMaintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident useAdhering to infection control principles and WHS requirements, including the safe storage and use of chemicals, and completing cleaning requirements according to facility schedulesCompleting required documentation and reportingProviding ad hoc support to the broader team as requiredWhat you will bringPrevious experience in a similar roleExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essentialCurrently hold and maintain a NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes is highly regarded but not essentialWhat''s in it for you?Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive hourly rate $35.78 (inclusive of casual loading + 12% Superannuation)Not for Profit Salary Packaging: Options of up to $15,900 Tax-Free + Meals & Entertainment - Support: An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family.
