Our teams collaborate across parishes, schools, and communities to deliver initiatives that support faith formation, leadership, outreach, and engagement especially among youth, families, and community groups.About The RoleThe Music Director - Youth and Young Adults plays a vital role in evangelisation through music across the Archdiocese of Brisbane. This role focuses on delivering high-quality music ministry, forming young musicians both musically and spiritually, and building a strong network of young leaders who can serve in parishes and schools. You will work closely with the Archdiocesan Ministries Youth team, parish priests, school leaders, and young people to create authentic, engaging worship experiences that draw young people into deeper faith.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent music ministry for youth liturgies, events, and gatheringsLead and mentor young musicians in parishes and schoolsBuild and sustain a network of young musicians across the ArchdioceseDevelop strategies for musical and spiritual formation of young peopleRecruit and apprentice young musicians from schools and parishesCollaborate with parish priests, school principals, APREs, and youth leadersDevelop and implement an annual plan aligned with Archdiocesan prioritiesFoster safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments for all participantsContribute positively to team culture and the mission of the ChurchAbout YouYou are a passionate and skilled musician with a heart for youth ministry and faith formation.
