The Occupational Therapist will provide neuro affirming specialised therapeutic support tailored to client needs. Responsibilities include performing assessments, developing and implementing personalised therapeutic plans, offering rehabilitation services, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. The role also involves working with pediatric clients and communicating effectively with clients, caregivers, and other team members to ensure optimal outcomes.QualificationsBachelor or Masters Degree in Occupational TherapyCurrent registration with AHPRACurrent membership with Occupational Therapy AustraliaEligibility for Medicare provider statusExperience working with children who are Autistic, have ADHD, a developmental delay and/or motor skill difficulty is looked upon favourablyExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other therapists, parents, teachers and childrenExcellent time management, and ability to work autonomously as part of a multi-disciplinary team, a personal commitment to being a life long learnerCurrent drivers licence and use of own car for community appointmentsCurrent Working with Children''s Check and Police Check & NDIS Worker ScreenerABN & Professional Indemnity, Public Liability insuranceYour role will includeProvide centre based assessment and intervention for children 0-18 both one-on-one and group interventions.
