It''s a part of our DNA and what drives us.The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaner to join our Presentation Services team within the Facilities Services Department in a permanent full time role. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our venue is known for.As a Presentation Services Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the Centre remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests, visitors, clients, and staff. Your work directly contributes to the smooth operation of events and the overall experience of everyone who walks through our doors.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, well presented and safe environment across all areas of the venue.Carry out daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste removal, and bathroom servicing.Support pre-event and post-event cleaning operations as required.Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.Identify and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively.Work collaboratively with the Presentation Services team and other departments.ABOUT YOUEveryday our people are responsible for delivering extraordinary experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.You will have a shared values and people-centric mind set and genuinely want to make a difference. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to a team that keeps the venue operating at its best.You will have:Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, venue or facilities environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high presentation standards.A passion for customer service.A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.The ability to lead a small team.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and event days including pre and post events.Understanding of safe work practices and willingness to follow WH&S procedures.On the job training provided to the right candidate.The successful candidate must hold a Current Paid Employment Working with Children Blue Card.ABOUT THE VENUEBuilt by the Brisbane City Council as a world class multipurpose facility, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre formed part of Brisbane''s bid for the 1992 Olympic Games.
