Amazing on-site culture with a leadership team that puts their staff first.The BenefitsSalary $180,000- $220,000+ Super (possibly some movement for the right candidate)Full strategic responsibility for manufacturingMonday to Friday onlySupportive leadership teamGreat cultureLots of company social eventsThe RoleThe Head of Manufacturing will provide strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing the manufacturing strategy and setting operational goals to ensure customer satisfaction for product quality, cost and delivery. You will provide clear leadership and vision for the operational team to achieve excellence across staff motivation, safety, continuous improvement and budget control.ResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility for manufacturing activities across the business creating best practice manufacturing vision for strategy, policies and processesLead, develop and implement variable cost productivity programmes across all areas of responsibilityPlan and execute maintenance activity to ensure plant is kept safe and compliantProvide effective leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports to manage a high performing team that consistently delivers to target.RequirementsPrevious senior leadership experience across a high performing manufacturing operation ideally from building materials, CNC (wood or metal), heavy industry or fabrication sectorsProven factory floor level management and ability to tackle operational level issuesStrong financial control experiencePrevious experience implementing and using Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping etcExcellent understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policiesProven history of increasing productivity while improving cultureIf you have all the skills above and looking to work in a challenging and rewarding role for an employer that values their staff please click ''Apply Now'' to forward an up to date resume.
