We''re excited to offer a newly created opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join HiLine Home Modifications.HiLine Home Modifications is a fast-paced, growing business operating in the disability, aged care sector in home modifications. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer. This is a handson, deadlinedriven role that requires strong, practical knowledge of Australian accounting, taxation, and payroll regulations. The position sits within a newly restructured department and will suit someone who is comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team from day one. Due to the regulatory nature of the work and the pace of the environment, we''re seeking a candidate with demonstrated, handson experience gained within Australia.We offer flexibility for the right candidate, including the option to work four days per week or shorter hours across five days, and are open to discussing arrangements that suit both the role and the individual.The roleReporting to the Company Accountant and Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for endtoend accounts payable and payroll, with some accounts receivable support as required.You will work across the following systems:MYOB core accounting and payroll platform (nonnegotiable)Employment Hero HR platform (you must be able to export timesheets and leave data for payroll processing in MYOB)Job Manager job and client management system (CRM)Microsoft Office suiteKey responsibilitiesPayrollEndtoend weekly payroll processing in MYOBExporting and reconciling timesheets and leave from Employment HeroManaging leave records, payroll queries, and compliance obligationsCalculating and lodging superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, child support, and Portable Long Service LeaveManaging EOFY payroll reconciliations including STP and Return to Work obligationsAccounts PayableProcessing and verifying supplier invoicesMatching purchase orders and resolving discrepanciesReconciling monthly supplier statementsManaging supplier enquiries professionally and promptlyAccounts & Administration SupportAccurate data entry and record keeping in MYOBSupporting accounts receivable where requiredMaintaining financial documentation and compliance recordsWorking closely with internal teams across the businessMandatory experience & requirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have demonstrated, handson experience with:Australian taxation and BAS/IAS preparation and lodgmentAustralian GST applicationAustralian payroll complianceAustralian financial reporting and complianceStrong handson MYOB experience (nonnegotiable)This role requires experience gained working within Australia, with a clear understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks, including interaction with the ATO and external accountants.What we''re looking forHigh attention to detail and strong task retentionAbility to manage volume and competing priorities in a fastpaced environmentClear communication skills and a practical, nononsense approachConfidence working independently and as part of a teamExperience with Employment Hero, Job Manager, or trade / projectbased environments will be highly regarded.Supportive, downtoearth teamOfficebased role with structure and supportStable business with longterm opportunityAll training, clearances, uniform, and PPE provided.All applicants must be willing to obtain (or already hold) a National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check, and Aged Care Sector Employment Screening.If you have strong MYOB skills and proven Australian accounting and payroll experience, we''d love to hear from you.
