Group Sourcing & Production ManagerGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.As we continue through an exciting period of growth, supported by a dynamic leadership team and a portfolio of iconic Australian fashion brands, we are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly motivated Group Sourcing & Production Manager to join our team.In this pivotal role, you will manage a team of three and oversee our global supply base, lead end-to-end sourcing and production operations across our three brands, GAZMAN, Cable, and Perri Cutten. You will play a key role in shaping sourcing strategy, vendor performance, and delivery outcomes across the group.This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished sourcing and production leader with deep experience across retail, wholesale, and international manufacturing. A leader who can drive operational excellence, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure our brands deliver quality, consistency, and efficiency season after season.ResponsibilitiesLead and execute global sourcing strategies aligned to brand, margin, quality and risk objectivesBuild, optimise and manage strategic relationships with offshore manufacturers, mills and fabric suppliersDrive cost management through FOB negotiations, benchmarking, cross-costing initiatives and supplier rationalisationPartner with Product, Planning and QA teams to influence product construction, fabric selection, quality and delivery outcomesOversee end-to-end bulk production, including vendor capacity planning, purchase order management and on-time deliveryContinuously improve critical path, production processes and supply chain efficiencyEnsure ethical sourcing, quality standards and compliance across all manufacturing partnersManage freight, logistics and supply chain risks, proactively addressing potential disruptionsQualifications8+ years'' experience in a production or sourcing leadership role within retail or wholesale apparelStrong experience working with offshore factories (Asia) and a solid understanding of garment manufacturingProven ability to manage multiple seasons across development, production and deliveryStrong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence across teamsHighly organised, detail-oriented and process-driven, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in medium to large, multi-site organisationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Apparel21 (or similar fashion ERP), and retail BI systemsStrong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholdersA competitive salary package50% discount across GAZMAN, Perri Cutten & Cable for yourself & immediate familyFree on-site parkingA supportive and collaborative culture, where your ideas are welcomed and valuedThe opportunity to work with a respected senior leadership team who are committed to innovation and growthBe part of a proudly Australian-owned, well-established and trusted businessOpportunities to attend fantastic events through the yearCompany OverviewAustin Group is a proudly Australian-owned, family-run fashion business with a rich heritage and a passion for quality.
