About the opportunityOur Bar and Gaming team is at the heart of the Wests experience. We''re currently looking for a casual Gaming Attendant & Safe Clerk to join us at Wests New Lambton, helping us deliver outstanding service to our members and guests.You''ll be part of a team that keeps our indoor and outdoor spaces, including designated smoking zones, welcoming, safe, and enjoyable from assisting with service and enquiries, through to ensuring our venues remain clean and inviting.ResponsibilitiesDelivering friendly, professional serviceAssisting with gaming machine operationsTaking and delivering drink orders to machinesResetting and paying out jackpot winsOperating Tab and Keno terminalsKeeping your workstation and equipment clean and tidyHandling tills and cash transactionsCollecting glasses and returning them to the barIn addition to the inherent requirement of the Gaming Attendant duties, when needed you will be required to fulfil the duties of a Safe Clerk.Safe Clerk dutiesCounting and balancing safeReconciliation of banking for all departments: TAB, Keno, Bar, Gaming, CateringCompletion spreadsheets for daily bankingProvide cash & change requirements for a variety of outletsLiaise with Duty Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders of all departments for cash requirementsEnter information into the company''s financial reporting systemYou will need to be available across a rotating roster, including Friday nights, weekends, and busy peak times like summer and holiday periods. These are our busiest seasons, so being part of the action is key.Mandatory certifications: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).About youYou''re someone who takes pride in delivering great service and enjoys being part of a busy, teamfocused environment. Accuracy and attention to detail are important to you, and you understand the importance of compliance with NSW liquor and gaming regulations. Working nights and weekends suits your lifestyle, and you''re energized by the buzz of a dynamic venue.You have an eye for detail and data accuracy, ideally with prior experience in a moneyhandling position. You are skilled in creating and maintaining spreadsheets, and have a penchant for dataentry. Prior knowledge in the banking sector or reconciliation of EFTPOS and ATMs is highly desirable.As part of our recruitment process, you''ll need to complete standard probity checks including, but not limited to, righttowork verification, Criminal History Check, and reference checks.
