This allows easy access to training seminars and conferences in the city without diminishing the direct impact that comes from working within a closeknit rural community.About the RoleThe Supervisor, Open Space Maintenance West leads a dedicated team to deliver safe, highquality maintenance activities across parks, gardens, reserves and playgrounds in the western region of the municipality including Drouin, Longwarry, Neerim South and Noojee.This role supervises staff and Council contractors, ensuring all works meet Baw Baw Shire Council''s Open Space Maintenance Standards.A key part of this role is fostering a positive team culture and safetyfirst mindset supporting the professional growth of the Open Space Maintenance team and upholding Council''s agreed behaviour values and cultural commitments. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to safe, vibrant and wellmaintained outdoor spaces that enhance the community''s enjoyment and wellbeing.About the Successful CandidateThe successful candidate will be committed to delivering highquality open space maintenance and fostering a strong positive safety culture across the Open Space West area.
