They guide us in achieving our strategic goals and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.The RoleAs the Supervisor SMP, you will support the Construction Manager and Site Manager in directing and controlling contractor activities to ensure project and contract objectives are consistently met. You will carry out daily inspections of contracted works, promptly identify issues and corrective actions, while ensuring all activities align with the latest approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and site entry requirements for personnel, plant, and equipment.You will play a key role in contractor coordination and performance management, maintaining accurate records of progress against schedule, reviewing delivery timelines, monitoring resources, and identifying risks to project milestones. This includes reporting daily on progress, materials, manpower, equipment, design issues, and any challenges impacting delivery, as well as contributing to weekly progress reports and attending pre-starts and contractor meetings.The successful candidate will actively participate in quality inspections, sign off on Hold and Witness Points where required, assist with permits, surveys, punch lists, and commissioning activities, and support the preparation and review of documentation for variations, additional works, and contractor claims. You will also assist in ensuring all statutory, safety, and contractual requirements are met.About YouThe successful candidate will have 35 years'' experience in a similar supervisory, superintendent, or inspector role, preferably within the Mining or Oil & Gas industry, along with previous construction experience. A current High Risk Work Licence is essential, including Advanced Rigger, Advanced Scaffold, and Crane endorsements. You must also hold Statutory Supervisor Certification (WorkSafe/DEMIRS) and demonstrate a strong understanding of the WHS (Mines) Regulations (WA) 2022.Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint, will be highly regarded.
