If no overview is available, please remove this section and Talent Acquisition will add a general description for the GBU.Job SummaryIn this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders'' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor''s management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.Major ResponsibilitiesMonitors and directs subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractors'' management staff within the area of responsibility.Role supports on large projects of high complexity with multiple stakeholders'' involvement.PlanningReviews and monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.Reviews and approves where necessary, subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.Leads the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.Safety / QualityMonitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirementsImplements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.TechnicalWorks with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documentsCoordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.Education And Experience RequirementsRequires bachelor''s degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experienceRequired Knowledge And SkillsWhat are the most important knowledge and skills (includes technical skills) that are needed UPON ENTRY to do the job successfully?What 3 to 5 KEY factors (ex. prior experience) should be used to determine qualification for the position?Total Rewards/BenefitsFor decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond!
