OverviewFixed Term Part-Time opportunity48.00 hours per fortnight (end date 28/02/2027). Varied shifts across a rotating rosterMonday to Saturday. Located at Maitland Donor Centre, New South WalesSalary starting from $33.12 per hour + Penalties (if applicable) + Super + Salary Packaging and moreAbout The RoleStep into a rewarding role as a Nursing Assistant where you will bring excellent customer-facing skills and a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. You will play a key role in supporting our donors through their donation process. Full training is provided so, along with the above, all you need is the curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product. A day in the centre could see you:Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donateCreate a donor experience they''ll love and want to come backComplete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin testsSet up machines and collections equipmentInsert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasmaMonitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donationWork collaboratively to achieve collection targetsQualifications and TrainingNo previous blood collection experience is required. Our paid training program blends hands-on practice with online learning to set you up for success.
