Bidfood Richlands is looking for a dependable and friendly individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator at our Richlands branch.About the roleRichlands Bidfood is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you''ll be responsible for receiving, moving, replenishing, and loading stock efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards. You''ll work closely with our receivals, picking, and despatch teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate stock management. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proven forklift experience, and a commitment to safe work practices in a fast-paced environment.DutiesLift, stack and unstack stock and material using electric and powered trucks equipped with forksEnsure bin locations are replenished dailyPick stock when neededKeep a record of daily operationsGeneral warehouse maintenance and cleanliness.General daily maintenance of materials handling equipment.Observe and report non-conforming or defect product to stock controller.Act accordingly to reduce warehouse expenses through minimising damages, wastage and overtime.Participate in stock take functionsPerform other related duties as directed by the Operations Manager / Leading HandRepresent & promote Bidfood at all timesAbout youYou''re the kind of person who gets along with just about anyone, shows up on time and genuinely enjoys a job well done.
