Boongalla Group are a leading restoration and construction company based in Bayswater, servicing areas all over Victoria. We are looking to add an experienced full time Carpenter to join our rapidly growing business.About YouAs the successful applicant, you will form part of a varied team of trades who are responsible for restoration and reinstatement of commercial properties. This role includes working across multiple worksites and includes coordinating with customers. Your key duties will include:General carpentry works: construct, erect, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials, and cut, shape and fit timber parts to form structures and fittings.General trade support, such as: small patch & paint works, maintenance repairs, flexible skillsLiaise with internal office staff, project managers & external clientsAdhere to legislative and regulatory requirements such as OHS legislation and risk management, assessing hazardous components of each project as required.Timely completion of administrational duties such as site diaries and compliance requirementsGeneral manual labour duties including lifting and frequent drivingWork away from home on occasionWork a rotating on-call roster, including afterhours shiftsWe are looking for enthusiastic people who pride themselves on delivering great work and are committed to being their best.
