We are looking for an experienced professional to ensure the smooth and efficient supply and distribution of aluminium extrusions and components. In this critical role, you will gather, analyse, and interpret complex data to enhance processes and optimise results, all while aligning with company stock holdings and service metrics. If you''re ready to make a significant impact within a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!WHAT''S ON OFFERAttractive salary + BenefitsAccess to Capral''s amazing employee benefitsWork with an established team that is friendly and supportive!Training and career progression provided.Primary ResponsibilitiesReview requisitions and procure inventory in line with forecasts and budgetExpedite the procurement of manufactured materials that are subject to customer backorders or are at risk of being in a stock out situationProvide root cause analysis of stock outs and first pass hit rate failures together with development and implementation of corrective actionsManage new product introduction projects effectively including the run out of superseded inventory; introduction of new products at the appropriate time to ensure low levels of product obsolescence and continuing high levels of customer serviceReview and action MRP exception messagesAnalyse existing supply routes, supply chain settings and stocking locations to provide cost effective solutions that meet the developing needs of the businessIdentify product to be ordered from overseas suppliers considering constraints including stock turns and containerisationMaintain a high level of Masterdata accuracy including lead times, supply points and lot sizesCoordinate reviews of slow moving and obsolete stock and carry out agreed actionsBalancing stock levels across multiple sites to ensure overstocks are reducedModify and maintain forecasts in line with feedback from salesMake inventory and supply decisions in line with budgetPrepare and circulate reports into inventory performance and KPI''sAssist in annual stock takesTake full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E)To be considered applicants WILL have:ESSENTIALRelevant qualifications in logistics, inventory management, purchasing, or a related discipline or experience in a similar role with proven administrative skillsAdvanced level of computer skills (Excel, database management, MS Word) and demonstrated strengths in data interpretationWorking knowledge of SAPWell-developed analytical and problem solving skillsHigh attention to detailExceptional communication and time management skillsDESIRABLEExperience within a similar role / industryApplicants must also be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.Employment at CapralOur strong values-based culture is a key part of looking after our people.
