The role is varied and diverse and includes looking after the properties, animals and vegetable garden. It''s an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic and enjoys working both indoors and outdoors plus thrives on task variety, multi-tasking and managing a range of tasks within working hours.The House Manager will manage a team of 2 and will also work closely with the exterior manager, farm hands and other core principal stakeholders including the EA.This is largely a non-guest in managerial position as the owner largely looks after themselves when in residence and the House Manager is not required to perform service or concierge duties but should be on standby for any property issues that may arise.Replacing the house manager of several years, the HM will inherit pre built interior procedures, checklists and interior guides.Core days are Monday to Friday with the possibility of afterhours if needing to tend to an issue.Open to candidates relocating and can temporarily assist with sourcing accommodation until the house manager is able to find a suitable rental (live out role).Key ResponsibilitiesManaging small interior team, daily household operationsManage household supplies, inventories, and schedulesProvide housekeeping and organisational support as requiredOrganising and maintaining additional personal items like ice bath, dive gear, gym equip, sports gear etc.Errands, Food provisioningLiaise with property owners when requiredEnsure the home is turnkey and guest-ready and maintained to a high standardEnsuring animals are cared for and maintainedEnsure vegetable garden is maintained and upkeptManaging the interior staff effectivelyAbout YouHighly organised with attention to detailExcellent communication and task -management skillsAbility to work independently and with a great small established team to supportPrevious experience in household management, hospitality, Chief Stewardess or property management similar roles essentialYour attention to detail for specific preferences is exceptional and you will have a genuine care for what you do.
