The incumbent is a key and active participant of the Early Childhood Education business area and provides support to students working in the designated zone that Chisholm Institute manages.The Regional Coordinator Officer WillAssist to promote traineeships and recruit trainees for employers across the stateMentor and support trainees throughout the lifecycle of the project from initial contact to completion including on-site visits statewideSupport employers to engage with the program and match with suitable candidatesLiaise with TAFE providers to ensure students are supported throughout their studiesAbout YouYou are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in Early Childhood Education.Qualifications Required For The RoleA relevant Degree qualification or a combination of lower-level qualifications and extensive experience in Early Childhood Education.Highly developed communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with students and staff at all levels and from a range of backgroundsExperience in relationship building including identification, evaluation and implementation of communication and engagement strategies for different groups of people that reflect their unique situationDemonstrated experience in the planning and provision of employment services, activities and programsDemonstrated understanding or experience in the provision of student services within a post-secondary institution, including an awareness of issues affecting current students in TAFEA strong (Intermediate) level of competency using MS Office (Word, Excel and email) and managing bespoke database systemsDemonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team, including the ability to self-monitor work requirements and achieve deadlinesAbout UsChisholm is one of the largest vocational training providers in the state with a team of over 1,400 dedicated staff supporting 41,000 students who study at Chisholm campuses across Melbourne''s southeast and online.
