This pivotal role ensures our operations meet accreditation requirements, run efficiently, and deliver an exceptional experience for our clients.You will play a key role in optimising systems, managing operational teams, and ensuring compliance, quality, and timeliness across all certification activities.Operational ManagementLead the end-to-end delivery of certification operations, including the planning, scheduling, and coordination of audits, assessments, and certification activities to ensure timely, efficient, and consistent outcomes.Continuously review and improve operational workflows, systems, and controls to maximise efficiency, minimise risk, and support scalable service delivery.Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure ongoing compliance with ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17065, and other relevant accreditation standards, maintaining audit readiness and confidence in certification integrity.Oversee internal audits, management reviews, and corrective actions, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to internal policies and accreditation requirements.Lead, coach, and develop operational teams, setting clear expectations and performance standards while building capability through training and ongoing support.Foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture that values accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.Client Service & Relationship ManagementOversee client-facing operational communications to ensure a professional, transparent, and positive certification experience.Manage and resolve operational issues effectively, balancing client needs with compliance obligations and escalating complex matters as required.Manage operational resourcing, capacity planning, and budgets to ensure efficient utilisation and alignment with business objectives.Identify and implement cost efficiencies and productivity improvements without compromising compliance or service quality.Analyse operational and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement across systems and processes.Prepare clear, insightful reports on KPIs, operational performance, and compliance for senior management and lead improvement initiatives.A bit about youStrong knowledge of certification and accreditation standards, including ISO/IEC 17021 and ISO/IEC 17065.Minimum 5 years'' experience in operations management, ideally within a certification, compliance, or regulated environment.Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Bachelor''s degree in Business, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Familiarity with accreditation body requirements, audit processes, and operational software/CRM systems.Next steps?Hit the Apply button with your updated CV.Applicants from recruitment agencies will not be considered.
