Our client is looking for an experienced Senior level Corporate Tax Advisor at Manager or Senior Manager level who has the potential to further develop the corporate tax offering. This is an opportunity to take control and grow an already significant advisory portfolio of Corporate clients, OMBs, SMEs, multinational clients.The key focus of this role is to provide proactive advice to clients on any issues that may arise during their life cycle; demergers, restructuring, share schemes; whilst also supporting with their tax compliance obligations.The successful candidate will work towards taking overall responsibility for the daytoday running of a team, growing business for the Corporate Tax offering, working closely with other Partners and have the autonomy to help shape the team''s growth strategy.You will be commercially minded and confident dealing with entrepreneurial clients, and you will need to be confident in providing technical backup to the partners.The firm has an extremely fluid and flexible hybrid system in place and offers the chance to work from home up to 3 times a week.ResponsibilitiesGroup reorganisations and restructuring activitiesTax assistance with acquisitions and disposalsIntroduction of share schemes and related workSEIS/EIS advice and advanced assurance applicationsCross border/overseas tax issues for UK entities (Scope to work alongside foreign advisors, within our global network or outside it, to provide comprehensive advice to clients)Capital tax reviews/planning for high net worth individuals relating to corporate share ownership in complex entities/groupsCorporate tax compliance reviews on higher risk or large casesLarge or higher risk capital allowance projects/analysisInvolvement in business valuation as part of tax projects or standalone valuation assignmentsFor further information on this role please contact Jack Wyatt at Clark Wood - [email protected] / 07880 255933.
