We are Australia''s largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.The OpportunityBased in Noosa, QLD, the Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of all fleet/equipment maintenance generally, but specifically responsible for the daily supervision of the vehicles and employees involved in the workshop.Lead the workshop and equipment functions through both internal resources and outsourced subcontractors to ensure appropriate systems and resources are in place to deliver reliable, cost-effective servicesEffectively communicate with the Branch Manager and operations team on the execution of the maintenance schedule and fleet and equipment availabilityImplement systems that ensure all Company property, equipment and machinery is kept up to the standard needed for safe and efficient operation, and that only qualified and authorised persons are carrying out installation, repairs, maintenance, servicing or modificationsEffectively leads and communicates with workshop staff to ensure work/task plans are understood, and allocates resources to execute the plan, including third-party contractors.Provide administrative control by overseeing the JDE purchasing function for workshop activitiesMonitor and contribute to fleet and equipment compliance with Cleanaway standardsAble to step up to Fleet Manager duties in their absenceAbout YouWe''re seeking a trade-qualified Workshop with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.Experience in leading and supervising fleet or equipment workshopsStrong track record in safety leadership and performanceExperience within the waste management or transport industry, preferredDemonstrated ability to work within budgetary guidelines and computer literacyBackground in heavy vehicle maintenanceAn HR licence is essentialAttractive salary packagePaid parental leaveGreat company benefits:Annual employee share plan offer, novated leasing, optional flu vaccinations, EAP access, discounts on private health insurance, company discounts + much more!Our ProcessOur recruitment process involves a number of checks, including, but not limited to, reference checks, verification of qualifications, licences and right-to-work status.We are dedicated to improving employment outcomes and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
