Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations.Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial control and management services to the Technology business unit. We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their technology costs and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans.In Technology Finance we support the technology function to deliver on the four pillars of their strategy; an organisation primed for delivery, a modern technology estate, world-class data and AI, and best-in-class security, resiliency and reliability.Do work that mattersThis role reports directly to the Senior Manager in Technology Finance. Your role is responsible for supporting the Platform Hosting, Database, and Storage & Data Protection Crews within the Chief Technology Office (CTO). Some of the key areas you will be providing support and leadership across include:Stakeholder management of the Executive Managers (Hosting)Monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentarySupporting and forecasting business proposals through modelling, analysis and insightsSee yourself in our teamThe role is responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Manager and you will be responsible for a wide breadth of activities, including but not limited to:Stakeholder management across technology and financeDriver based annual budget and rolling forecastsMonthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentaryFinancial modelling of business plans and strategic proposalsInvolvement in ad-hoc financial analysis and broader insights to drive tangible valueIdentify and assist in implementing ongoing process improvementsContract reviews and accounting treatmentFinancial control and balance sheet ownershipWe''re interested in hearing from people who will aspire toBroad stakeholder engagement skillsStrong accounting and financial skillsStrong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysisAttention to detail and qualityAdvanced excel skills for financial modelling and analysisDemonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneouslyInnovative mindset and desire to drive process improvementsExcellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skillsExperience in supporting a technology function is desired but not essentialAccounting qualification CPA or CAIf you''re already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you''ll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
