OverviewAs part of the Technology & Risk Support team we provide second-line oversight for technology changes that affect financial crime processes and detection systems. Here, you''ll ensure technology changes have the right controls, thorough testing, required governance and deliver intended outcomes especially for financial crime detection systems. Our team helps Financial Crime Compliance meet regulatory obligations and strengthen risk management. We focus on stakeholder engagement, data analytics, financial crime technology systems, and processes that explain the "why" behind compliance decisions and not just the "what".In this roleYou will lead Line 2 risk reviews for technology changes impacting financial crime systems across the Group. Partner with stakeholders throughout the delivery process to define business, testing, and governance requirements, ensuring Agile outcomes. Manage risks by assessing change implications and communicating impacts early. Ensure all changes meet financial crime obligations and engage stakeholders at the right time to drive compliance and successful delivery.More specifically you will:Review change submissions at key stage gates and ensure approvals before progressionParticipate in review sessions, clarify requirements, and recommend controlsOversee test requirements and validate outcomes for complianceSupport delivery across streams such as Transaction Monitoring, Payment Sanctions, Customer Sanctions, Customer Risk Assessment, and Threshold Transaction ReportingIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance risk processesContribute to strategic enhancements of controls and processesTrack and manage change pipelines for visibility and oversightEscalate financial crime-related issues promptly to FCC personnelSupport execution of the broader team business planWe''re Interested In Hearing From People Who HaveStrong experience in technology change management and Agile delivery.Expertise in Financial Crime Technology and regulatory obligations (AML/CTF, Sanctions, ABC).Proven ability in test management and risk assessment.Skilled in documenting requirements and managing robust test processes.Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with a proven track record of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels.Relevant IT qualifications or financial services experience.Working with UsWhether you''re passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career with CommBank is for you.
