With a nursetopatient ratio of 1:2 for six beds and 1:3 for the remaining ten, you''ll support patients with acute cardiac conditions, including lifethreatening emergencies, diagnostics, interventional procedures, and rehabilitation.As part of the CALHN Heart & Lung Program, you''ll also contribute to cardiothoracic surgery care and preoperative services, playing a vital role in the patient journey.As a Registered Nurse, you will be supported through comprehensive education opportunities, including an 11week Cardiac Rhythms course and a 20week High Acuity program, led by expert Heart and Lung educators. Working alongside senior CCU nurses, cardiac nurse specialists, and cardiology consultants, you''ll develop from a novice to a proficient practitioner. You''ll take accountability for delivering highquality care, empower patients in their treatment, and be an essential member of a specialised cardiology nursing team committed to professional growth and excellence.About YouYou are a registered Nurse (or eligible) with a current practising certificate, committed to delivering exceptional, patientcentred care.
