Reporting to the HSE Manager NSW/QLD and working with our construction staff on various projects across NSW, you will provide excellence in environment management systems, implementation of policies, procedures & processes and driving a positive working environment.Key Responsibilities Of The Role IncludeConduct regular site inspection to ensure Environmental obligations are maintainedLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure planned works comply with environmental management planRead and interpret Development Approvals, Environmental Impact Statements and other relevant project information, then using relevant information to develop or modify project construction environmental management plan(s)Report to the HSE Manager and communicate with the broader team to advise of any issues that could be destructive to the environmentEnsure all activities are performed in compliance with the requirements of the relevant specifications, codes and standards, which form part of the contract and environmental legal obligationsAbout YouDesired Skills and ExperienceTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will PossessRelevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or Environmental EngineeringA minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in environmental management including experience in a site based role in construction, mining, or land rehabilitationPrevious experience or knowledge with field environmental monitoring techniques, including water quality testing and sampling, vegetation and weed identification, soil sampling and contamination management, nuisance (dust and noise) monitoring and data analysisExcellent communication skillsGreat knowledge of environmental legislationHigh level skills and experience in Erosion and Sediment ControlUnderstanding of core environmental principles and regulations including IECA & best practices/blue bookBe rewarded at CPP.At CPP, we value our people above all else.
