Reporting to the Facility Manager, you''ll have the opportunity to lead and inspire junior staff while ensuring care plans are tailored to the unique needs of each resident.What You''ll Be DoingConduct clinical assessments, update care plans, and make appropriate referrals.Work collaboratively with residents to ensure care reflects their personal preferences.Lead and monitor care delivery to meet Aged Care Quality Standards.Support and mentor junior staff, including Enrolled Nurses.Facilitate training and development for team members as needed.Ensure residents'' physical, emotional, and social needs are met, including personal care, medication administration, nutrition, mobility, and comfort.What you need to be successful in this roleRegistered Nurse experience, with AHPRA registration.Knowledge of the aged care sector and relevant standards (preferred).Strong leadership and teamwork skills with experience managing care teams.Experience in client assessments and developing person-centered care plans.Excellent communication skillsboth verbal and written.Current Police Clearance (less than 6 months) and current First Aid Qualifications (or willingness to obtain)It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID Vaccinations and an up-to-date Flu vaccinationThis is a permanent part time position working 5 shifts per fortnight (with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to cover leave).
