You will have the ability to lead the daytoday production with the assistance of kitchen hands and accept responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen.The RolePrepare and cook meals for residents, ensuring that food is prepared safely and hygienically.Ensure food is prepared to a high standard of quality and presentation, and check supplies to confirm freshness and suitability.Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that they follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards.Follow food safety rules, hygiene standards, and other regulations for serving food in Aged Care Facilities.RequirementsMinimum 3 months paid experience in Aged Care or hospital sectorsMinimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or Cert IV in Commercial cookery/ Diploma in hospitality)Food Safety and Handling CertificateValid National Police CheckFully COVID19 vaccinated (in line with state requirements)Valid driver''s licence, reliable vehicle, and mobile phoneMorning availabilityApply Today!We''re actively placing chefs now.
