With over 250 experienced and specialised team members, we have a proven track record of delivering results for our diverse client base.About the OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Infrastructure Services team based at Hendra. The team specialises in electrical infrastructure works and provides a comprehensive range of design, supply and construction services. Our projects include major road and rail infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects, urban developments and subdivisions, and airports and airfields.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all site activities under the guidance of the Project ManagerLead and manage the accountability for multiple teams of electrical workersCollaborate with the Project Manager and deliver cost effective construction methodologiesCoordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure work planned and is delivered to the highest standards in terms of quality, environmental and health and safetyProvide Quality Assurance and control sign off to relevant works in-line with Quality Assurance process and project requirementsCoordinate and participate in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox meetings to help foster a productive team environmentManage direct resourcing allocations in-line with project schedule and ensure works are planned for and alignedMonitor all works currently underway and scheduled, to identify potential challenges or issues and provide direction on best method for resolutionAssist the Project Managers with the tracking of Apprentices, including their progress and work standardsManage client and stakeholder interaction during constructionQualifications5 + years'' experience working in the electrical construction industryDemonstrated experience in a Supervisory role, or similarCurrent unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers LicenceCurrent manual drivers'' licenceHigh level of organisational and planning skills, as well as excellent attention to detailProven leadership and communication capabilitiesCompetent in providing trainingUnwavering commitment to WHS and environmental proceduresDesirable ExperienceExperience with the Energex/Ergon networkExperience with High Voltage Infrastructure (private/network)Experience with Substations, Large Customer Connections etc.Experience with overhead, underground reticulation.Experience/understanding switching Low Voltage networksExperience with Streetlighting, Traffic Signals, Industrial Projects.What CV Can Offer YouCompetitive rate + Overtime + VehicleA dynamic environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learningAdditional leave through our purchased leave programCV Life Employee Rewards Program retail discounts and work perksSalary sacrificing and novated leasingDiscounted corporate private health insuranceFinancial wellbeing programA great company culture with exceptional peopleAbout CVCV maintains a loyal and growing customer base which is made possible by our exceptional teams and our drive to create outstanding businesses that we are proud of.
