Surrounded by a diverse and collaborative global community, you''ll be inspired each day to stretch, grow, and make an impact.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.In this role you will effectively be the business leader for our Premium Tissue Processor product line not just responsible for setting a winning strategy and product vision but everything else that defines a successful business such as high impact global commercial product launches, product lifecycle management including quality and margin improvements, driving ongoing portfolio growth initiatives, vitality and sustainment of Leica''s Staining Systems Tissue Processing product vertical in the Anatomic Pathology; specifically, the PELORIS Premium Tissue Processor. This is an ''Individual Contributor'' role with no direct reports but requires a high level of leadership and coloration across many groups, disciplines, and geographies. Working closely with R&D teams, Global Support, Global & Region Commercial Sales, Marketing, Service and Support, this role interacts with almost all facets of the business needed to create and execute a winning strategy.LocationThis role is based in Melbourne, Australia, and is an ''onsite'' role in Mount Waverley with international travel. This position reports to the Director of Product Management and is part of the ASI Product Management team located in Melbourne, Australia.In this role, you will have the opportunity toOwn and articulate the product vision anchored around strong value propositions and differentiation that will drive revenue, margin expansion, and customer adoption.Take a leadership role amongst Program Management, R&D and Business Analysts to drive delivery of product updates on time, on budget as agreed.Through strong opportunity analysis, prioritise the projects and initiatives for your product that provide the best ROI to the businessExecute the development and launch of complex New Product Development initiatives (eg - crossBU projects or multiyear projects) in accordance with standard Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, with minimal supervision and potentially supervise others with a wide range of project complexityEither directly, or with assistance from Technical PMs or Business Analysts, work with stakeholders in the development of Product Requirements and concepts including defining Minimal Marketable Product (MMP) for each product or release.Essential RequirementsMinimum of undergraduate Bachelor''s Degree in biomedical science, engineering, natural sciences, business, or medical fields.Master''s or PhD highly desirableWhilst not essential, an MBA is desirable if the criteria below are metAt least two of:Minimum 5 years sales experience in Anatomical Pathology domainMinimum 5 years'' experience working in Anatomical Pathology laboratoriesMinimum 5 years'' experience working as Product Manager, preferably as Global Product ManagerMinimum 5 years'' experience working within R&D Product Development in Medical Devices fieldProven track record of sustained success in the above fieldsTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment RequirementsApprox. 25% travel, predominantly overseas (NA & EU specifically)Must have a valid driver''s license with an acceptable driving recordIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience inMarketing campaign creation and execution experience highly desiredCompetency in JIRA, or similar project management toolsExperience in communication and presentation to a broad audience of stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling mannerJoin our winning team today.
