These are integral to the effective response to family violence matters in the adult correctional system and plays a unique role in contributing to the Government''s community safety agenda.About The RoleReporting to the Senior Project Officer, MARAM Implementation Team, the Project Officer will play a key role in building the strategic capability of CJS'' family violence system by contributing to the development and delivery of family violence projects and initiatives of strategic relevance to the adult correctional system.The Project Officer is responsible for a range of project management functions and continuous improvement activities related to supporting the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM) implementation and management of Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS) and enhancing responses to family violence across CJS, as well as contributing to work in other projects as required. The position also plays a critical role in supporting government reporting requirements and analysis and monitoring of databases to support and improve reporting activities.The ideal candidate would have experience in the Department''s project management framework PME and the skills and knowledge to assist with delivering small to medium sized projects. Additionally, demonstrate an ability to think strategically to identify and respond to emerging issues and have strong analytical knowledge and skills, including advanced skills in Excel and common BI reporting tools.Some Of Your Duties Will IncludeAssist with the development, management and delivery of new initiatives and projects relevant to family violence in the adult correctional system in Victoria using relevant project management methodologies.Identify and analyse emerging strategic issues for the Victorian correctional system, including analysis and interpretation of family violence data and provide advice to management about those issues.Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and develop a shared commitment to the delivery of initiatives and projects.Conduct analysis and interpretation of family violence data, with a focus on identifying suitable reporting solutions for internal reporting.Provide technical advice to CJS business areas on the use of data and information available in core IT business systems.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Data, digital and technological literacyDemonstrated ability to analyse, interpret, present and report on data, including transforming raw data into reports and understanding of performance frameworks, measures and operational data systems.Demonstrated project co-ordination skills in the successful delivery of complex projects, in a technical and outsourced environment as well as an understanding of the departments project management framework PME.Strong strategic and organisational awareness and demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders in an environment of competing priorities.Qualifications/requirementsThere are no mandatory qualifications required for this role, however relevant government experience is desirable.A demonstrated understanding of the Department''s Project Management Excellence (PME) Framework or other project management framework would also be an advantage.Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities are required.How To ApplyPlease click the Apply button on this advertisement.
