Through its work, the group shapes the future of agriculture and safeguards the state''s biosecurity.As a Project Support Officer, you will provide essential support to research and development (R&D) projects across the Agriculture & Biosecurity group. Your responsibilities will include:Advising and supporting project staff in budget development, project financial management and project closure.Assisting teams to use corporate project and financial management systems effectively.Supporting proposal development, funding applications, contract preparation, and approval processes.Preparing project reports on performance, milestones, expenditure, and revenue to inform decisionmaking.Providing data and information for reconciliation, contract management, and reporting processes.This role is critical in ensuring projects meet governance and compliance requirements while delivering under tight deadlines and competing priorities.About YouYou are highly organised, detailoriented, and thrive in a structured environment.
