We have an opportunity for an Experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Cranebrook DoctorsWe require an individual who is highly motivated, enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude towards all tasks, ability to work autonomously at a fast pace as well as in a team. This will be a growing practice so a cheerful personality is a must as well as is the ability to think on your feet!ResponsibilitiesOpen and Close clinic as per set procedureGreet patients and other callers in a professional and courteous mannerMake appointments for patientsEnsure medical records are managed confidentially and efficientlyAccurately process patient payments via cash, Eftpos, and direct bill transaction.Knowledge of the MBS schedule and correct billing proceduresDeal with referring doctors, hospital staff, pharmacists etc courteously and helpfullyAttend to patient enquiriesCheck and handle internal emails.Fill in the roster when staff is away, on holidays and sick leave.Maintain the reception waiting area and consulting rooms tidy including the clean up of spills if necessary.Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records with appropriate scanning, faxing and filing of all documents.At all times maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information.Complete recalls.Support the day to day operations of the medical centre.Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.High level of computer literacy and IT knowledge.Experience using Best Practice is desirable.In addition, the candidate must also provide the following;Current Police CheckCurrent Working with Children clearanceCurrent First Aid/CPR certificateImmunization RecordDriving License/ Photo IDSelection CriteriaDemonstrated ability to work in a teamExperience with Medical software (BEST PRACTICE/MEDICAL DIRECTOR)Demonstrated strong organizational and problem solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, including multitaskingDemonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders both verbally and in writingDemonstrated commitment to quality patient serviceIf you would like to become part of a team that cares for every individual staff member and youmeet the requirements above, please click on apply or send your resume to [email protected] short-listed candidates will be contactedExpected Start Date: as soon as possible.Job Types: part timeSalary: Remuneration will be negotiable based on experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
