THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITYAs a Production Engineer, you will be a key member of our Engineering team, responsible for developing technical solutions from concept through to production. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products are designed, documented and delivered to meet required specifications, quality standards and manufacturing efficiency.You will work closely with Production, Product Management, Sales and external partners to provide technical support across a broad range of products, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturability, serviceability and cost efficiency.This role will be heavily involved in automatic sliding door operators and selected door hardware products, while also providing exposure to a broad range of products across the dormakaba group.This is a handson, varied role suited to an engineer who enjoys working across product, process and quality, and who values collaboration between the shopfloor and officebased teams.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeDevelop technical solutions from concept through to final documentationPlan and prepare production tasks for new products and special projectsPerform product and process quality checks and analysisCoordinate technical requirements with internal teams, suppliers and customersCollect, analyse and evaluate technical data to support reporting and decisionmakingDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturability, serviceability and efficiencyEnsure all technical work complies with safety, legislative and quality standardsYour SkillsKey skills that we are looking for:Experience working across mechanical systems, project planning, or electronics/control systems (essential)3+ years'' experience in a similar production, manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong technical aptitude with electromechanical systemsDemonstrated experience using CAD/CAM systems such as SolidWorks and AutoCADExperience using ERP systems, ideally SAP (preferred but not essential)Experience with configurable products is highly beneficialAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teamsA proactive, customeroriented approach with strong communication skillsHigh level of accuracy, conscientiousness and attention to detailQualificationsEngineering Degree in Mechatronics is preferredMechanical or Electronics/Electrical qualifications will also be consideredA preemployment medical, including drug and alcohol screening will be required.WHAT YOU CAN TRUST IN: A FULFILLING WORKPLACEParking with onsite gym for employees.Access to discounted Health Insurance.Peer to Peer Recognition via our ''AAA'' Nominations and awardsWellbeing Committee with pillars focusing on Mental Health, Community Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Social & Amenities.Empowering Wellness: Every Employee has access to a WhereFit membership, accessing discounts for Gym memberships, apparel and more!To learn more about us and what we do, visit our website: miss out on this opportunity to make a significant contribution to our business and be a part of our growth.dormakaba is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
