OverviewJob description: We are now seeking an experiencedSenior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our team on a landmark renewable energy project Boulder Creek Wind Farm located near Rockhampton, Queensland. Reporting to the Engineering Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering key electrical components, including substation construction works, transmission line systems, and comprehensive electrical network reviews.DIDO / FIFO roster 10 days on 4 days off, offering salary + uplift + allowances + flights + accommodation.ResponsibilitiesConduct electrical design reviews and prepare technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and project reports, to ensure compliance with project, regulatory, and Australian safety, quality, and environmental standards.Manage the installation and commissioning of substations and associated electrical infrastructure in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.Supervise and coordinate construction of high-voltage transmission lines connecting wind farm assets to the grid.Optimise the performance of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) systems, including grid connections, and ensure seamless integration with existing networks.Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders while identifying and mitigating risks during construction and commissioning phases.QualificationsBachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Proven experience with substation projects, transmission line works, or large-scale infrastructure, preferably in renewable energy.Strong technical knowledge of HV/MV systems, grid connections, and power distribution networks.Familiarity with Australian electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.We offerCompetitive pay that reflects your contribution:We reward performance and impact, with our remuneration benchmarked to market.Purpose-driven careers in infrastructure:As we grow our presence in the renewable energy sector, DT Infrastructure is also continuing to cement its position as a delivery partner of choice across rail, roads and Defence infrastructure projects.
