You will play a pivotal role in shaping the electrical design of complex and high-profile building projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of electrical outcomes from concept through to delivery, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver smart, reliable and future-ready solutions.You will be responsible forLeading the design and delivery of electrical building services systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, communications and earthingDeveloping compliant, efficient and constructible electrical solutions aligned with client, project and regulatory requirementsManaging small to large projects, or electrical scopes within larger multidisciplinary projectsProducing and coordinating electrical designs, documentation, specifications, calculations and schedulesCoordinating with mechanical, hydraulic, fire, architectural and structural disciplines to achieve integrated building services outcomesPlanning and managing electrical engineering resources to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgetsDelivering electrical contract administration, site inspections and technical support during constructionActing as the primary electrical engineering liaison with clients, contractors and stakeholdersManaging project financial performance related to electrical scopeProviding technical leadership, mentoring and quality review of electrical engineering outputsQualificationsBachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years relevant professional experience in building services electrical engineeringAbility to travel interstate from time to timeMIEAust, RPEQ registered, Commitment to achieving CPEng statusWhite Card (CIC)Valid Australian driver''s licenceQueensland project experienceStrong technical knowledge of power, lighting and electrical services in buildingsDemonstrated knowledge of energy efficiency, sustainability and electrical compliance requirementsBroad understanding of other Building Services disciplinesAdditional InformationEgis is committed to creating an inclusive, flexible, and values-led workplace.
