Two Fixed Term Temporary full-time positions (1 position until 30.06.2026, 1 position until 08.11.2026)The roleReporting to the Application Manager, the Senior Application Specialist will be responsible for providing leadership and ownership of business-as-usual changes and support required for operational delivery of ieMR.Key responsibilities:Lead changes required as per the roadmap, at the request of application managerProvide effective change management, capacity planning, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, with the ITIL framework.Ensure all changes, are delivered on schedule, and as planned in regards to impact to clients.About youWe are searching for someone who:Demonstrated ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 5, CHMG Level 5, RELM Level 5)Demonstrated expert level skills and experience in managing clinical applications and its integration with business requirements and technical environment in a large and complex service delivery environment. In particular expert skills in the ieMR Medications, Anaesthesia and PowerTrials stream and the Queensland Health Statewide Automated Dispensing Cabinet ServiceDemonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus. (SFIA: SLMO Level 5)Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of technical specialists.
