ETS is currently seeking Digital Metering Technicians to support our Unitywater contract in Southeast Queensland. While experience in a similar role or within the water infrastructure sector is desirable, it is not essential. Applicants with backgrounds as Plumbing Trade Assistants or Cable Technicians will be highly regarded.ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission and configure digital water meters and data loggers for residential, commercial and industrial properties (AMI/AMR/IoT)Investigate and troubleshoot device issues, liaising with remote vendors as neededEnsure all work complies with ETS HSEQ policies and relevant legislationDeliver high quality customer service to clients and customersCollaborate with team members to share technical/safety information and support continuous improvementAssist with meter reading and water meter replacements alongside plumbers as requiredQualificationsPositive, teamorientated attitude with a strong willingness to learnExperience in water/wastewater networks (desirable)Computer literate, including device configuration and Microsoft ExcelStrong communication skills and ability to work autonomouslyDesired Skills (highly regarded but not essential)Knowledge of, or experience with, water meters and/or data loggersFamiliarity with AMR / AMI / IoT networks and technologies (e.g. NBIoT, WIZE)Experience with meter field collection or data management softwareExperience using Temetra (advantageous but not required)What We OfferFulltime role with monthly RDO availableCompany vehicle providedCareer development within an established national businessEmployee Assist Program (EAP)Access to discount health coverAbout ETS Infrastructure ManagementFor over four decades, ETS Infrastructure Management has been a leader in Australia''s infrastructure sector, proudly Australianowned and operating across six states.
